Past Perfect Tense की पहचान!

हम इस आर्टिकल में पास्ट परफेक्ट टेंस के बारे में गहराई से अध्ययन करेंगे जानेंगे कि इसे हम सामान्य जीवन में कैसे उपयोग कर सकेंगे। Past perfect tense की पहचान को जानने से पहले हमें यह जानना होगा कि Past perfect tense कहते किसे है –

Past Perfect Tense किसे कहते हैं?

जिस हिंदी वाक्यों से भूतकाल में किसी कार्य की पूर्णता का बोध हो ऐसे वाक्यों का अनुवाद Past perfect tense में किया जाता है।

Past Perfect Tense की पहचान

इस प्रकार के वाक्यों की मूल क्रिया के अंत में चुका था / चुकी थी / चुके थे / आ था / या था / ए थे 

Past Perfect Tense का Structure(1^st type)

Subject + had + V³ + Object

मैं रोटी खा चुका था।	I had eaten bread.
तुम रोटी खा चुके थे।	You had eaten bread.
वह खाना खा चुका था।	He had eaten meals.
तुम पानी पी चुके थे।	You had drunk water.
तुम घर जा चुके थे।	You had gone to home.

Note–  Past Perfect Tens का प्रयोग ज्यादातर अकेले नहीं होता है इसका प्रयोग Past Indefinite tens के साथ होता है। क्योंकि इस प्रकार के वाक्यों में 2 वाक्य होते हैं जो “बाद” और “पहले” शब्द से जोड़े गए होते हैं। पर हमले के बारे में अध्ययन करेंगे। 

(2^nd type)

Note:– इस टेंस का प्रयोग प्रायः ऐसी दशा में होता है जब भूतकाल में दो काम का वर्णन हो जिनमें से एक काम दूसरे काम से पहले समाप्त हो जाता है, किंतु दोनों कार्य भूतकाल में ही समाप्त होते हैं। इस टेंस के दोनों वाक्यों को “बाद” और “पहले” शब्द से जोड़ा जाता है।

Example – 

वह इन खिलौनों से पहले ही खेल चुका था।	He had already played with these toys.
मैं इस खेल को पहले ही देख चुका था।	I had seen this game before.

Past perfect tense Structure:- 

• Past Perfect Tense + Before + Past Indefinite Tense.
• Past indefinite Tense + after + Past Perfect Tense 

Subject + had + V³ + Object + before + Subject + V² +object 

 

Subject + V² + Object + after + Subject + had + V³ +object 

 

Example — 

मेरे स्कूल पहुंचने से पहले ही वर्षा आरंभ हो चुकी थी।	It had begun to rain before I reached the school.
पुलिस के आने से पूर्व ही चोर भाग चुके थे।	The thieves had run away before the police came.
खाना खाने के बाद रमेश स्कूल चला गया।	Ramesh went to school after he had taken his food
डॉक्टर के आने के बाद रोगी मर गया था।	The patient died after the doctor had come
मैं यह समाचार पहले ही सुन चुका था।	I had already heard this news.
उसके स्टेशन पर पहुंचने से पहले रेल गाड़ी छूट चुकी थी।	The train had left before he reached at the station.

Past perfect tense Negative sentences structure 

Subject + had + not + V³ + Object + before + Subject + V² +object 

Subject + V² + Object + after + Subject + had + not + V³ +object 

Example — 

इसके पहले मैंने लाल किला नहीं देखा था।	I had not seen the Red fort before.
महात्मा गांधी बचपन से ही तेज नहीं थे।	Mahatma Gandhi had not been intelligent since his childhood.
जब मैं वहां पहुंचा तो सभा शुरू नहीं हुई थी।	When I reached there the meeting had not begun.
वह दिल्ली कभी नहीं गई थी।	She had never gone to Delhi.
राम के भाई ने कभी भी झूठ नहीं कहा था।	Ram’s brother had never told a lie.
धोबी के आने से पहले वह कपड़े नहीं धोए चुकी थी।	She had not washed the clothes before the washerman came.
मुझे कल तक अपना पत्र नहीं मिला था।	I had not received your letter till yesterday.
मैंने यह शहर पहले कभी नहीं देखा था।	I had never seen this city before.

Past perfect tense Negative sentences structure 

Had + Subject  + V3 + Object + before + Subject + V2 +object.

Example —

क्या डॉक्टर के आने के पहले रोगी नहीं मर चुका था?	Had the patient not died before the doctor came.?
क्या इसके पूर्व तुमने लाल किला नहीं देखा था?	Had you not seen the Red fort before?
क्या उसने पहले ही अपना गृह कार्य नहीं पूरा किया था?	Had he not already completed his homework?
क्या जब तुम दिल्ली गए तो प्रधानमंत्री जापान नहीं जा चुके थे?	Had the prime minister not gone to Japan when you went to Delhi?
क्या उसके पिताजी 1960 से कलाकार नहीं थे?	Had his father not been an artist since 1960
अपने पिता के मरने से पहले वह कहां गया था?	Where had he gone away before his father died?
तुम्हारे आने से पूर्व वह क्या कर चुका था?	What had he done before you came?
डॉक्टर के आने से पहले कितने लोग मर गए थे?	How many patients had died before the doctor came?
